This depends on the time of year but generally I am booked out at least two weeks for weekdays and a month for weekends.

How do I pay you?

I am CASH ONLY at the studio.

How do I contact you to make an appointment?

The easiest most efficient way to make an appointment with me is to fill out the contact form on my website. This will get sent to me directly and I will review it to see if I am a good fit for your tattoo and from there I will contact you directly if I am interested in your project. Remember, please be specific with details in your form.

How will I hear from you?

I will text you back on the phone number you filled out on your form, please make sure to check if you filled out the correct number and that it’s contactable.

Ok, we’ve talked details, now what?

Now I can accept a NONREFUNDABLE deposit of $100 (unless otherwise stated). This is mandatory to have an appointment. I can take your deposit either cash or thru Venmo, PayPal or Zelle (this is Only for Deposits). If I have not received a deposit from you within the allotted time or confirmed you’ve sent a deposit, no appointment has been made.

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

It covers cost of materials, drawing time as well as holds you time/date slot. The deposit will be reduced from the final price of the tattoo.

Can I see my drawing before my appointment date?

As a professional policy I do not send out drawings in advance for viewing. This is to prevent theft as well as gives time for me to also work on other clients waiting for their pieces as well. Drawings will be available at your time of the appointment, if you’re worried about any changes that might need to be done they can be made during the appointment time. This is why it’s important to fill out your form as thoroughly as possible so I know exactly what you want

⎈Will you tattoo persons under the age of 18 with parents’ consent?

I do not, it is illegal to tattoo minors under any conditions, no exceptions. I’ll be happy to tattoo you after your 18th birthday.

⎈May I bring people with me to my appointment?

Yes of course, but no more than one other person please do to space and consideration of other clients and artist, thank you.

⎈May I bring my child (or anyone under 18) with me to my appointment?

No persons under the age of 18 are allowed in the studio due to health and safety reasons.

Is there anything you don’t or won’t tattoo?

Yes, I do not do finger tattoos, white or UV ink tattoos, face tattoos(unless Heavily tattooed). I also do not tattoo in the style of photo realism, bio organic or mechanic, or any freehand script work

“How much for…?”

This is a very hard question to answer if I do not have enough information. I need to know what the design is In Detail, sizing in inches and when it will be placed on the body. Pictures are incredibly helpful and necessary.

PLEASE DO NOT just say “I want it small tattoo”. What small means to you is different for me. Be specific as possible please.

I do not give out a set number but a ROUGH estimated range. Pricing is subject to change depending on last minute changes, sizing and placement.

Can I tip/What’s the policy on Tipping?

Yes, tipping is always greatly appreciated

I need to Cancel/Reschedule my tattoo appointment, what’s your policy?

Please give me at least a 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rescheduling. If you cancel, no call no show, or give less than 24 hours notice you will lose your deposit.

Anything I should not do?

Yes of course please do not come under the influence of any kind, be unbathed (especially in the tattoo area like feet for example), dehydration or not fed, sick, sunburned, wearing colognes and perfumes, and please don’t be rude.

This is my first tattoo, what should I do/know:

Getting a tattoo for the first time I know it can be a very nervous experience and communicating your anxiousness and needs is very important for the tattooing process. If you were interested in making a consultation just to discuss a Tattoo feel free to contact me (805)290-1355 and I’d be happy to answer any questions you have and go over the tattoo process. Never feel bad for asking questions.

If I can give any advice in advance always make sure to have a full meal before an appointment and to be hydrated, rested and clean (also for my sake personally please refrain from wearing any heavily scented products like colognes and perfumes)

Do you take walk-ins?

I am typically Appointment Only, however in my Los Angeles location I accept walk-ins on Tuesdays 11AM-6PM.

Can I wear numbing cream, or do you apply numbing cream?

I do prefer you not wearing numbing cream as it does affect the skin and can make it more difficult to work with which makes the whole process more strenuous for you, your skin and for me. I do not apply and numbing cream but I try to make the whole experience as comfortable as possible for you.

Hey I got work from another artist but I want you to finish it, can you?

This depends, if there is no way of you getting to that other artist again (ex. They retired, died, out of the state/country) or you had a negative experience with them then absolutely. I will not typically finish local artists work unless you had a negative experience.

Do you do rework tattoos?

Yes if I feel I am a good match for the design I’m happy to rework a Tattoo.

Do you do coverups?

Yes I do on occasion do coverups, however if I do not feel comfortable working on the original tattoo or the style you’re wanting the cover-up in I will gladly refer you to someone who will do the job.

Aftercare FAQs:

Do you use the second skin tattoo healing bandage?

Yes I specifically use derma shield on all my clients unless you have an allergy to adhesive and bandages then I will put a temporary saran wrap bandage on.

How long does it take for my Tattoo to heal?

Everyone heals differently but on average it can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 1 month.

You put a bandage on me and it is leaking, irritated, or falling off what do I do?

If you’re having any complications with the bandage take it off immediately and clean it with unscented fragrance free soap and water. Once you’re done cleaning let it air dry and leave it be, do not re-bandage it. It’s good to wash your tattoo 2 to 3 times a day every day when healing.

Do I put lotion on my tattoo?

Only after the tattoo starts to scab which is around 4 days after the appointment. The first 3 days after your tattoo is an open wound so just leave it alone but keep it clean with an UNSCENTED soap.

What kind of lotion?

Most any Unscented lotion is ok. I personally recommend Aveeno and Lubriderm. Remember, Less is More. Lotion is optional.

My tattoo is itchy, is it OK to scratch it?

No, do not under any circumstance scratch your tattoos this will lead to damage to the Tattoo which can create scarring. A nice way to help soothe the itchiness is to put A little bit of unscented lotion on. The itchiness will go away as the tattoo heals and the scabbing falls off naturally.

Can I go Swimming?

NO, none of any kind unless you want a Staph infection or MRSA. Avoid any bodies of water, pool, jacuzzis, and baths for at least a month. Showers are OK briefly on the tattoo

⎈I have pets, will it hurt my tattoo?

Be mindful of Pets as their hair and dander can cause irritation, swelling and infections. To avoid this wear a long sleeve breathable shirt around animals if you can’t avoid them.

Can I sun tan with my new tattoo?

No, try to avoid long sun exposures as much as possible. Once the tattoo is fully healed please wear sunscreen if you’re in the sun. Your tattoo will thank you in the long run

Can I still work out with a fresh tattoo?

If you can take a break it is best advised. Excessive sweating will make the healing process take longer and heal incorrectly . If you can’t avoid it, just light exercises. Remember to Keep It Clean, gyms and equipment are full of germs.

My tattoo is swelling/irritated is that normal?

Yes some swelling and irritation are normal, your skin just received trauma and it will be tender and sensitive for a few days. If the swelling or irritation gets worse please contact me to assess the situation.

My color tattoo is scabbing in one big patch/a lot is that normal?

Yes, color tattoos are more saturated than line work and black and grey tattoos, so more scabbing will form in the tattooed areas. Just remember to not mess or pick at the Tattoo.

Do you offer touchups?

Yes on my tattoos. Sometimes life happens whether it’s our animal that scratched it or line that didn’t retain as well our bodies are finicky things and so I always offer one free touchup within the first 6 months of the tattoo if you need it. However if I examine the tattoo and can tell or hear you that you did not take care of it properly then extra charges may be applicable. Please be careful with your tattoos.

No question is silly, so if you have other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to message me day or night at (805) 290-1355. I will respond as soon as I can. Please don’t assume for you and your tattoo’s safety.
